Alumni Day Award in Clinical Practice

Description

Established in 2013, this award recognizes an alumna/us who demonstrates clinical excellence, embodies the professional call to nursing and is currently employed in clinical practice. This award will be presented at the annual Alumni Day celebration (this year on Saturday, April 20, 2013, 10:00 am-3:00 pm at the College of Nursing in Chicago).

Selection Criteria

• Must be nominated by College of Nursing faculty, staff, alumni, self, or other nursing professional.
• Demonstrates outstanding clinical skills, leadership and achievement in her/his chosen field of practice.
• Promotes nursing through activities that advance and enhance excellence in practice, including but not limited to clinical teaching, precepting, lecturing at professional conferences, etc.
