Distinguished Nurse Alumnus/a Award

Description

Established in 1977, this award recognizes graduates who have been involved in creative work, distinguished achievements and service, and important contributions to nursing or other endeavors. It is the highest award presented by the College of Nursing Alumni Association and is customarily given at the May commencement.

Selection Criteria

• Must be nominated by faculty, staff, alumni, or peers.
• Special attention is placed on the nursing positions held by the alumnus as well as written publications, lectures, and other honors or awards.
