General CRRVP Information

Welcome to the Center for Reducing Risks in Vulnerable Populations (CRRVP)

The CRRVP is funded by National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Nursing Research Grant# 1 P30 NR009014.

The overall purposes of the Center for Reducing Risks in Vulnerable Populations (CRRVP) are to:

  1. Advance the science of biobehavioral health for vulnerable populations, emphasizing issues associated with vulnerability related to age (very young or old), minority status, and lower socioeconomic status
  2. Reduce disparities in disease/illness
  3. Support research training by providing core services and resources to investigators

The work of the CRRVP is implemented through four cores:
