Multiethnic Community Advisory Board
The Multiethnic Community Advisory Board meets three times a year (October, January and May). The format for the advisory board includes a brief presentation of a project by a UIC College of Nursing Faculty member or a community member. In addition, the Board is available to provide community consultation input for research studies (subject recruitment, networking, community contacts, etc.). Please contact Linda Graham, lgraham@uic.edu if you would like to receive input from the Multiethnic Community Advisory Board for your study.
Think Tanks & Mock Reviews
At each mock review, arranged through the College of Nursing Center for Research Facilitation (Olga Sorokin, osorok1@uic.edu), a member of the Multiethnic Core is available to review recruitment plans for targeting minority populations. The Multiethnic Core member also reviews plans for the translation of instruments and modification of instruments to target special populations.
