Research / Discovery
Dr. Kim's research focuses on (1) Korean American caregivers, (2) breast cancer early screening and detection behaviors among Korean American women, (3) quality of life for Korean American cancer survivors, and (4) colorectal cancer early screening for Korean Americans.

Teaching / Learning
Dr. Kim is a course coordinator for Pathophysiology and Pharmacology for the Graduate Entry Program (NUSC 420/423).

Service / Practice
Dr. Kim is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and a member of the University of Illinois Cancer Center Protocol Review Committee.

Personal
She is a church choir member. She loves to travel.
