Research / Discovery
Ms. Vaez completed her Master's Research Project in Nurse Practitioner adherence to national guidelines in managing cholesterol at a nurse managed center. She has also moderated a discussion at a national conference on developing group visits for patients with severe and persistant mental illness

Teaching / Learning
Ms. Vaez is a Clinical Instructor in the Family Nurse Practitioner program. She has enjoyed leading clinical discussions and coordinating clinical placements since 2010.

Service / Practice
Ms. Vaez has practiced at The Center for Integrated Health Care since 2007. She enjoys working with the population with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) managing acute and chronic illnesses. She has had the opportunity to initiate a program for group visits for the patients at IHC. She has also gained experience working in a variety of other clinical practices as well. She has precepted NP students since 2007.
