845 South Damen Avenue (MC 802)
Chicago, IL 60612-7350
Research / Discovery
Mrs. King's research focuses on the electrophysiologic properties of atrial fibrillation and current therapies/modalities to treat this arrhythmia.
Teaching / Learning
Mrs. King teaches NUSC 210, NUSC 225, and NUSC 217; she is also clinical coordinator for NUSC 335 and NUSC 225.
Service / Practice
Mrs. King is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International and the Heart Rhythm Society.
She is married and has three children. Her oldest son is a professional chef (this gene must have skipped a generation), and her middle son is a guitarist in a rock band. Her daughter is showing an interest in the sciences but faints at the sight of blood, so she thinks a career in nursing may be out. She also plays the acoustic guitar and the drums. She enjoys photography and reading. Her favorite hobbies, however, are water gardening and interior decorating.
