four hours of course work in epidemiology and/or population-focused
courses in research methodology, ethics, biological and social sciences,
public health and nursing science.

- Develop a
career plan for implementing research in health disparities.

and conduct pilot study for future funding.
- Provide professional
presentations of research at annual scientific meetings.
- Submit a
proposal for grant funding.
