International Scholars: Special Studies Scholars
Short-Term Visitors
International scholars who plan a short stay of two weeks or less are designated "visitors" by the Global Health Leadership Office.
The majority of international visitors to the College of Nursing plan a stay of one or two days duration. Occasionally, they request a longer schedule. A visitor's schedule is usually intensive and has a defined goal. Often, visitors wish to meet with faculty and administrators with a particular focus or area of expertise. For example, a visitor interested in curriculum development might meet with the members of the Curriculum Committee and/or coordinators of particular specialty areas. Persons interested in developing a visit to the College should contact the Global Health Leadership Office. Likewise, a visitor seeking research consultation or collaborations will work with staff to identify the specific investigators they wish to contact.
