International Scholars: Support Services for International Students

Graduate Student Organization

Each new student is assigned a buddy through the Graduate Student Organization (GSO). A buddy is either an American or international continuing graduate student who has volunteered to assist new graduate students with their transition to the College and the community. Most paired buddies eventually become true friends, and the program is an enriching experience for both participants.

The GSO and Office of Global Health Leadership collaborate to provide a Buddy handbook that contains useful information for students new to the College, campus, and the city.
