Primary Health Care Services

The overall objectives of the Chicago Health Corps embrace the Primary Health Care (PHC) framework by teaming community residents and health professions students to provide health service in existing community health and educational settings and realize cultural competency and health career development.

CHC members are placed at various Chicago community health care settings implementing and facilitating an assortment of health education and outreach programs for community members. Members involve individuals and communities in the planning of health-related activities.
