Research Training Program in Primary Health Care: Pre & Post Doctoral ProgramsPHC ScholarsThe PHC research program fosters the development of knowledge for community-based practice with specific attention to essential health care for diverse communities. The perspective of the persons and communities receiving care, particularly vulnerable populations, are examined in this research program. Scholars engage in participatory activities with community members and health providers to promote health and resolve health concerns. Students’ specific programs will be planned with their advisors to accommodate past experiences, interests, and future career plans.
