Campaign Priorities

Facilities Improvement

New technologies and improved facilities will meet the changing needs of today’s students, teachers, and researchers, giving them the best possible resources for shaping the future of health care.

Updating Research Laboratories

The College of Nursing labs were designed in the early 1960s, long before the emergence of modern nursing research. The College must meet modern standards to remain competitive.

These laboratories house health care impact studies, such as:

  • Breathing improvement therapies for people with chronic lung disease
  • Discovering new treatments for chronic pain
  • Enriching environments to hasten brain injury recovery
  • Assessing patients with sleep disorders

Attracting and retaining the highest caliber researchers, faculty, staff, and students depends on our ability to provide the most advanced facilities that foster creativity and support 21st century learning and discovery.
