Dr. Marjorie Beyers was honored at the Chicago Hilton on October 26, 2007. Twenty Pinnacle Leaders from across the state were also honored at the event. More information is available here.

UIC College of Nursing Redesignated as a PAHO/WHO Collaborating Center for International Nursing Development in Primary Health Care!
Dr. Beverly McElmurry will remain Head of the Center. This designation by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) will be effective from 2007-2011.

The NIH 2006 Rankings have been posted and UIC College of Nursing is ranked 3rd!

College of Nursing Awards Honorary Degree
Shirley Welsh Ryan has been awarded an Honorary Degree from the College of Nursing. Mrs. Ryan co-founded and serves as Chair of Pathways Awareness, a national not-for-profit organization committed to helping raise awareness about the importance of early detection and early therapy for infants with motor and developmental delays.

The UIC College of Nursing Ranked in Top Ten Best Nursing Colleges in the Country!
The College of Nursing has been ranked 7th among an elite group of colleges in U.S. News & World Report's annual America's Best Graduate Schools 2008. The complete list of rankings of graduate and professional institutions is available on the U.S. News & World Report Web site.
