Research
In our academic nursing practice at our Integrated Healthcare Centers,
we provide advanced practice nursing care for members of Thresholds.
To provide best quality care, we seek to apply the most current research
to the clinical problems we see. Drawing on our background as researchers,
we are applying current knowledge to everyday clinical care by:
- Reviewing and critiquing
clinical practice guidelines
- Developing clinical
practice guidelines for our clients where needed
- Designing flow sheets
and protocols to implement practice guidelines
- Teaching our students
best practices in clinical care
These activities are all
examples of evidence-based practice.
