BSN: How to Apply
Students are admitted for the fall semester only. Application materials must be completed and postmarked by October 15th for early admission decision and January 15th for final decision .

Fall 2008 Application Materials
A complete application for the BSN program includes all of the following:
1. UIC Undergraduate Transfer Application
Applicants are strongly encouraged to complete this online application for faster processing. A nonrefundable application fee ($40 domestic; $50 international) is required. Payment may be made by sending a check or money order in US currency payable to the University of Illinois with your application, or by credit card if applying online.
Please note - Second Bachelor's Degree candidates cannot apply online and must submit a paper application and letter of petition.
Please be sure you apply using one the College of Nursing codes as follows:
Chicago campus = 20FW1498BSN
Urbana campus = 20FW1498BSN1
2. Official Transcripts
Have transcripts sent directly to you and keep in the sealed envelope. Submit them with your application. DO NOT have transcripts sent separately. UIC graduates need only submit transcripts for work completed since graduation.

Undergraduate scholarship applications are due April 1 of each year. Students applying for scholarships are also required to file a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form with the UIC Office of Financial Aid and submit a copy of their SAR (Student Aid Report) with their scholarship application. If you are seeking scholarship funding, you should apply by the deadline although you may not have an admission decision.
