Information Sessions

Information sessions are offered for various programs throughout the year. Sessions cover admissions, student life, how to submit a competitive application—you name it!

Nursing Program Information Sessions:

Sessions begin promptly at the scheduled time. Chicago sessions are held at The College of Nursing, 845 S. Damen Ave. (Near the corner of Damen and Taylor). Street parking is scarce but there are several lots in the area that range from $5-$8. We are also within walking distance of the Blue Line (Illinois Medical District stop) and Pink Line (Polk stop) on the el. Please enter through the north entrance of the building. There will be signs as you walk in the building directing you to the correct room. Please allow time for parking as the sessions begin at the scheduled times and are not open houses.

Please make sure you attend the correct session based on your previous education. The GEP sessions are for students who have Bachelor's degrees in other fields and are not currently RN's. If you have some college credit, but not a degree, you should plan to attend the BSN session.

*The DNP information session will be held in Chicago at the College of Nursing building and will also be available to other prospective students through teleconference call. Please RSVP to Chris Ocampo at cmocampo@uic.edu to receive the teleconference call number and DNP presentation.
