Abstract: The University of Illinois at Chicago , College of Nursing (UIC CON) will assist the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) with investigations and investigative research into complaints and alleged incidents of harm to families and children serviced by DCFS and its contracted agencies.

The focus of the investigative activities will include but are not limited to: the physical, mental and addictive health services as well as licensing or regulatory violations or other violations of standards of child welfare practice that may affect the well being of children and families serviced by DCFS.
