E-Tuition
Certain certificate programs and online programs charge e-tuition instead of the range tuition listed above. The current e-tuition rate is $695 per credit hour.
MS-DNP Tuition Rate
Since Post-Master’s DNP students are off-campus and online nursing students, the College of Nursing has designated a per-credit hour tuition rate.
There will be no separate fees or tuition differential. The rate for Fall 2009 – Spring 2010 is $679.00/credit hour ($664 plus a $15 administrative fee) of enrollment. This tuition rate means that you will not be eligible for university health insurance or to use the university’s health centers.

Undergraduate & Graduate Scholarships
Support for undergraduate and graduate students is available in the form of scholarships, traineeships, fellowships, and Board of Trustee tuition and fee waivers. Awards are made on an academic year basis, and new and continuing students can apply for support by submitting a scholarship application each spring. Students fill out one application and are matched with the best available funding.
Applications are evaluated on the basis of financial need, academic achievement, and leadership. Graduate scholarship applications are due March 1 of each year, and undergraduate scholarship applications are due April 1 of each year. The application process is competitive. Students applying for support are also required to file a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form with the UIC Office of Financial Aid and submit a copy of their SAR (Student Aid Report) with their scholarship application.
