The Student Nurses' Association at the University of Illinois at Chicago is a chapter of both the National Student Nurses' Association (NSNA) and the Student Nurses' Association of Illinois (SNAI).  Our mission is to build our leadership skills to give us a competitive advantage in our health care, academic, and advocacy initiatives.  We do this by being active participants in developing our organizational chapter, networking to increase our diversity and contacts, and engaging in the legislative process which will affect us as nurses as well as the population we serve.  

Meeting times
Every other Monday at 3PM starting August 29.

Nursing Graduate Student Organization

The Graduate Student Nurses Organization (GSNO) represents that over 600 GEP, Masters, DNP, and PhD graduate students currently enrolled at UIC College of Nursing, including our regional campuses. Our purpose is to facilitate communication among graduate students and serve as a liaison between nursing graduate students, the faculty, administration, Graduate College, other health professional colleges, and the University at Large. We serve to communicate information to students, convey concerns, and explore issues regarding academic and extracurricular activities that affect the quality of graduate nursing education at UIC College of Nursing.

Nurses for Reproductive Health and Justice
Open to: UIC nursing students, faculty and alumnae

Nurses for Reproductive Health and Justice (NRHJ) is a pro-choice student organization. Our organizational aims are: 1) To support optimum reproductive health and options for all people, including the right to access abortion and family planning services, 2) To enhance the education of student and practicing nurses on appropriate evidence-based abortion & family planning care through curriculum and practicum experiences, and 3) to build and expand the community of pro-choice health care professionals and providers.

We welcome undergraduate, graduate and GEP students, as well as faculty, staff, and alumnae, to participate in our events and join our cause!
