Teaching/Learning in Nursing and Health Sciences Certificate Program
About the Program
The Teaching/Learning in Nursing and Health Sciences Campus Certificate provides academic preparation for a career in education in a variety of contexts. The
courses focus on theories and processes related to instructional design and delivery, learner assessment and evaluation, and curriculum design and development. The certificate includes a capstone course where students apply and synthesize content in a practicum experience (90 contact hours) that is individualized to students' needs, interests, and career goals.

This online program consists of four courses (3 semester hours each)
which can be completed in four semesters of part-time study.
Courses are offered during the fall, spring, and summer terms. Students enrolled in graduate study may take individual
courses as electives. Course content was designed to prepare students to become a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) by the National League for Nursing (NLN).
