Young Scientist Travel Grants
The IUCr, ACA, and other generous donors have provided a limited set
of funds to help students and young scientists attend the 2004 meeting
by contributing towards travel and related expenses. Preference is
given to those undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral
research fellows, and young scientists under the age of 35 (preferably
under the age of 30) making a presentation (in a poster or regular
session) at the meeting. Interested parties should return the
Student Travel Application Form (see page 15 in the
"Call for Papers") to the ACA headquarters by March 1, 2004.
Applications received after this deadline will be reviewed only if funds
remain after the initial review. Applicants who received travel grants
in 2003 are NOT eligible for funding in 2004, and should not apply.
Applicants need to submit an abstract of their presentation before March
1 to be considered for the travel grant.
