The
28th annual conference of the Association for Moral
Education will be held in Chicago, Illinois from
November 7 to 10, 2002.
"Conflict,
Contradiction, and Contrarian Elements
in Moral Development and Education"
 This
year's conference is sponsored by the College
of Education of the University
of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and the following
UIC units:
Office
for Studies in Moral Development and Education
Collaborative
for Academic and Social Emotional Learning (CASEL)
within the UIC
Department of Psychology
The meeting will be held at the Holiday
Inn City Centre, located two blocks east of
North Michigan Avenue and within walking distance of
Navy Pier in Chicago. This downtown hotel features excellent
banquet and meeting facilities, specially equipped
