ASCEND Chemistry Clustered Registration

Below are schedules for “clusters” within Chemistry 101 and 112. There are seats available in four lab/discussion sections within Chemistry 112 lectures sections and for two of the discussion sections in Chemistry 101.

If you would like to be registered in the course indicated on your chemistry placement test, please go ahead and indicate your preference below. On July 8th if you are not already in the chosen section you will have an opportunity to register at that time.

If you wish to be considered for a section above that into which you have been placed (usually, into 112 instead of 101) you must discuss this with Mary Fleming-Hughes and with Scott Shippy.  They will review your progress in the summer program and your actual test scores. They will let you know if you will be able to register for the higher course. You will also have to retake the chemistry placement  test in August, although this is for reporting purposes only.
