UIC Executive Conference 2009

It is understood and accepted that organizations, both private and public, are facing tough economic times. The need to streamline business operations and cut operating cost is a requirement to survive and move forward to create stronger, more sustainable organizations. Acknowledging this need and the strength of the leadership at UIC, the Executive Conference 2009 is designed to provide insight and define action that leaders need to take to manage operations while reducing cost.

Senior executives from organizations that have managed through large scale economic and business process transformations will share insights about actions that moved their organizations to realize financial and operational success. These executives will discuss what they have learned, and through discussion, help UIC leaders gain a clearer view of the best way ahead.

Subject matter experts from various UIC colleges and units will address specific, action focused topics during small group discussion sessions. Each session is designed to provide actionable information. Participants should leave these sessions with knowledge of target actions to restructure operations as necessary, and tools to manage through these uncertain times while supporting employees effectively.
