Why aren't there miniature cats?

Hi Amanda in MO,

To answer your question, there are minature cats. They are called munchkins.
These cats have extremely short legs and small bodies. They were developed about
5-7 years ago. They have an association, but they are not too popular.
Unfortunately, these cats have a lot of musculoskeletal problems associated with
their dwarfed extremities. If you want to see one, I am sure you can find a web
site about munchkin cats, I do not know any off hand. Great question!!!
