Q: (Initially posted on March 28, 2003) FROM MENTEE BAO C. IN CA
I need to build a dispenser bridge, and I would need to work with a structural engineered. Do you know where I can get that sort of tutoring?

A: FROM MENTOR LELLI VAN DEN EINDE IN CA
I recommend approaching the nearest college or university's
civil/structural engineering programs to find graduate students or even
researchers and professors who are involved in the field of Structural
Engineering and in particular bridge engineering. As a researcher myself at
UCSD, I know of many students and faculty who would be willing to help with
your bridge project. Try www.structures.ucsd.edu, http://eerc.berkeley.edu/
or http://www.cee.ucla.edu/.
