Kelley,
I don't know specifically, if health care programmers use
Java Script, but I am
guessing that some companies probably do, especially for their
User Interfaces.
Java Script is great for interfacing to Java Server Pages
which are dynamically
created when a user accesses them. (Java Server Pages are
files that end in
".jsp". Often the content of a Java Server Page
may change, and so need to be
compiled Just In Time for use by a user. The data for that
page may be
accessed, using Java Script. Health Care programming uses
alot of User
Interfaces and dynamic updates and have alot of dynamic updates
of data. You
can use Java Scripting in any programming field. Often other
fields also use
programming. Engineers may use programming to calculate data
for their needs.
Accountants may use programming to create programs that calculate
data for
them. Almost every company needs web programmers to survive
in this new age.
Banks have online banking now, which need user interfaces
and then could use
Java Scripts for accessing data. Most career paths that use
java Script would
be Programming.
I hope this helped.
