A: FROM MENTOR KRIS MOODY IN NH
A Tesla Coil is basically a transformer that can generate very, very
high voltages. Here is a link to a pretty great web site that describes
tesla coils, with photos and drawings too. Definitely check out the movies!
The Tesla Zone:

Big web site with lots of links to information about Tesla:

From an even bigger web site that links to all kinds of science info.:

Hi, Sarah,

I found information on the Tesla Coil by doing a search on "Tesla coils" from
www.google.com.

Here's the web site that I found that gives you the answers:

http://users.tm.net/lapointe/HowItWorks.htm

I hope you can understand it - it's a bit over my head! Perhaps you can find
someone who understands this and can explain the words to you!

Kristin
