Q: (Initially posted December 17, 2003) FROM MEMBER CHAU L. IN TX
Which is the best college for Computer Science in Texas? How about [other strong programs in Computer Science] across the U.S.???

A: FROM MENTOR LORI KANE IN MA
Hi! There are many schools in Texas and across the country that have good
programs. The University of Texas at Austin has an excellent program. The
University of North Texas is also very good. You can do some Internet
searches or read college guides to find other programs.
Please remember that, while a strong program is very important, it is most
important that you enjoy the college experience and like your teachers and
classes. If it is possible, try to visit some of the colleges you are
interested in and see if it is the right fit for you. If you don't enjoy
the journey, it doesn't matter how good the school is.
