Q: (Initially posted April 12, 2004) FROM STUDENT MEMBER ALEXIS K. IN VA
I have been looking for colleges that have wildlife research. I found one
that was mentioned in a Smithsonian article about ocelots (the Caesar
Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute at Texas A&M University-Kinsville). I
would like to know what other options there are and could use help to find
the schools.

A: FROM STUDENT MEMBER SHANNON S. IN CA
Humboldt State University in California has a great wildlife department and biology department. Both of which have undergraduate research opportunities. Go to www.humboldt.edu and look up e-mail addresses and send questions to the professors, all of them are great at answering.
