I am going to Rice University next year to major in chemistry. Chemistry has always something that has appealed to me, and throughout high school my interests have been aided by the help of many mentors, both at school and through GEM-SET. Many of my friends are interested in chemistry(one is going to school with me next year) as well, so the interest has also been nurtured there.
