In my opinion, pollution is the major problem in our enviornment.
We can lessen pollution by using less fossil fuel and more
electricity.

In my opinion, I think the biggest environmental
problem of this decade is the depletion of the o-zone
layer. The hole in the ozone layer has many negative
side effects, such as the polar ice caps melting and
islands sinking. It also effects the climate and
allows for more harmful rays to get to us. In order to
help solve this problem, I think it's important to get
more government funding on the environmental issues. I
think it's also important to stop the destruction of
forrests, and stop the rapid industrialization and
creation of factories. It's important to find safer
ways of doing things and limit ourselves from doing
things that destroys the environment (ex. spray cans).

I believe that the most significant environmental
problem is also the most visible. Although many people
are aware of the fact that the Earth experiencing
global warming, most of the population does not heed
to the warnings of the destruction of the ozone layer
for future generations. The destruction of the ozone
layer allows UV (dangerous) sun rays to penetrate the
earths surface and the person exposed to those rays
can acquire skin cancer. Some reasons that global
warming is rapidly progressing are because of the
constant CO2 released into the air through the burning
of fossil fuels and trees. As forests are being
destroyed, the possibility of the reductions of CO2
becomes slimmer. Some things that scientists could do
to solve the problem is creating a mechanism in which
CO2 can possibly be converted to other, less harmful
gases. They can also continue their quest in creating
cars that solely run on materials other than gas.
