English is not my first language, and I only moved to
the US two years ago. Because of this my PSAT scores
were much lower than my math. I was wondering how the
colleges would weigh this factor. Also many colleges
require the SAT II Writing exam, which I probably
would not do good on either. Is there an alternative
exam that I can give?
Also-What are some places that I can volunteer at that will
help me with becoming an engineer. Currently, I
volunteer at a hospital and at the community center
calling bingo numbers but neither of these volunteer
jobs help me with learning somthing about physics or
math. If I was planning on becoming a doctor, then the
hospital would be a good place, but I want to learn
more about engineering. Also I was wondering if there
were any other programs for 16 year olds that are
academically informative about physics and math.

I'm on vocational track in school. I havn't ever really thought about going to college. I always thought I would go to vocational school. So, that's the track I took in school instead of College track. But, now I think I would rather go to College, to get a better education. I'm a Junior in High school so, even though I'm on Vocational track, can I still go to college?
