My name is Candice K. Johnson, and I am curently an undergraduate
English
Education major here at UIC. I grew up in Chicago and attended the
Chicago Public Schools. After attaining my undergraduate degree,
I plan
to be a teacher in the Chicago Public Schools. Although my preferred
discipline is English/Language Arts, I am interested in this program
because educating young women is a cause I want to support. I look
forward to new learning experiences and intend to make the most
of my job
as a GEM SET Tutor.
