Danell Oliver-Collins
Retail Industrial Designer
Hallmark Cards, Inc.
Kansas City, MO

Education:
BS in Physics from Kansas State University
BSET in Plastics Engineering Pittsburg State University

Currently I am working for Hallmark Cards, Inc. as a plastics engineer under the title of Retail Industrial Designer. My group designs the displays used to display Hallmark product. The most exciting part of my career now is learning about new plastics and how I can use then in my parts. The plastic world is ever changing and keeping up is a welcome challenge. The toughest barriers are people barriers. Earning respect and developing a mutual trust. This is accomplished on a individual basis. Only by earning respect can I move forward in my career.
