Dorothy W. Rhodes

Ms. Rhodes currently holds the position of Advanced Research Engineer and Project Manger at the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department in Little Rock, AR. She graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. She began her career with the department in 1989 serving as an Engineering Intern working in Roadway Design and Construction. She spent five years in Roadway Design before joining the Planning and Research Division in 1997. She serves as an Engineering Recruiter for the Department highlighting career opportunities in transportation and engineering. She loves spending time with children being a mentor and a tutor in Mathematics and Reading. Another cherished favorite is speaking in the classroom to Elementary, Junior, and High School Students as well as various organizations advocating careers in Engineering and Transportation. She and her husband Alvin reside in Little Rock.
