Dorothy Zachmann is currently the staff psychiatrist for the REACH

Facultad De Medicina Universidad del Rosario. She did her residency

Psychiatry in the last 10 years has grown in knowledge and research
and has made the field one of the most exciting in Medicine. To
be able to treat successfully patients is by far the most gratifying
experience I have had. As far as barriers I would say that being
a foreigner and a woman has presented challenges and required major
efforts to overcome. On the other hand, being well trained and educated
has given me the flexibility to maintain a career and have a family.
