Dr. Esther Pearson is a Mathematician, Technologist and Educator. She has spent 27 years in positions ranging from Engineer to Engineering Director. Within those years she has worked in the Automobile, Computer, Network and Internetworking industries. She is currently the Chief Technology Officer for a technology services corporation. She has a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, a Master of Science in Engineering Management and a doctorate in Mathematics and Science Education. The most exciting part of her career is exploring new technology and determining how it can be used to expand and extend the capability of humankind. The toughest barrier she has had to overcome is dispelling stereotypes of women being incapable of achieving a career in technology.
