I am an associate professor of mathematics and the Chairperson
of the Division of Mathematics and Sciences at Kentucky State University.
I received my Ph.D. in mathematics from University of Kentucky in
1991. My doctoral thesis is titled Regular triangulations of convex
polytopes and d-cubes. I started working at Kentucky State University
as an assistant professor of mathematics in 1991. The most exciting
part of my career was when I proved the most difficult theorem of
my thesis. The toughest barrier of my career was having no role
model when I was a student and no female mentor when I started working.
