Dr. Jennifer McGehee Marsh is Senior Associate for Academic Affairs
at the Council on Postsecondary Education. She holds a Ph.D. in
aquatic toxicology and is a practicing attorney in environmental,
agriculture, and intellectual property law. Dr. Marsh was a biology
professor at the University of Louisville for nine years and served
as General Counsel to the Kentucky Senate. She and her husband farm
in central Kentucky and raise cattle, tobacco, freshwater shrimp,
and trout. She served on the Kentucky Aquaculture Task Force and
is a board member of the Kentucky Aquaculture Association. She is
Vice Chair of the Governor's Commission on Small Business Advocacy,
a member of the International Society for Ecosystem Health, the
Kentucky Academy of Science, and serves on the Environmental Protection
Agency's STAR committee. She is a certified ISO 14001 auditor, a
Women in Science Mentor, and has served as a Gifted Kids Coordinator
for American Mensa.
