As the Chief Technology Officer for the Port Authority of Allegheny County, Ms. Bertocci is responsible for four departments and directing major programs. The departments directly reporting to her are Technical Services and Specifications, Network/Software Engineering, Internet/Intranet Development and System Support/Development. Ms. Bertocci has been recognized for her work at the Port Authority in several trade magazines including, Business Finance, Outsourcing Journal, Network Magazine and Network World. She was also the recipient of the 1999 Tranny Award of Merit, for their new Web Site and is the runner up in Network World Magazine for Best Network in 2000. Before joining the Port Authority, Ms. Bertocci was employed by Alstom, where she held the title of Director of Information Technology. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. She has over 14 years of experience in the Information Technology field which spans many areas including ERP implementations, web development, software engineering, nuclear simulation as well as real-time flight simulation.
