For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated with the
world around me, especially when animals are part of the scene!
As a child, I never accepted explanations on good faith alone, constantly
inquiring more and more; the mark of a someday-scientist! I have
been quite fortunate thus far in life in having the courage to chase
down amazing opportunities. I have twice traveled to the Middle
East to perform duties of zoo-archaeology in rural areas of Syria
and am about to embark on my fifth science-teaching adventure in
the Arctic. I'm a recent graduate in Zoology from San Diego State
University and I'm beginning a Master's Program in Evolutionary
Biology in January 2003 to study terrestrial arthropods. I've come
to accept the current condition of our planet but will not sit idly
by as the wealth of the world's species dwindles away. I'm dedicated
to the conservation and protection of Earth's remaining flora and
fauna and hope to one day pursue a PhD and active career in the
field of Conservation Biology.
