 How do I find out who my mentor is? GEM-SET does NOT match students to mentors one-on-one. Instead the program utilizes a group mentoring system also known as network mentoring. When a student asks a question, it is posted for all the mentors to see. Sometimes one mentor will respond and sometimes more. This way each student gets to know many mentors from different careers and can benefit from different points of view. If you want to direct your question to a certain mentor, you can put that at the top of your question and the moderator will forward it to the specific mentor. All mentors and their biographies are posted in the MENTORS section of this web site.
