The President's Society

The March of Dimes has reached an important crossroads. Since 1938, we have raised the funds necessary to fulfill our mission. Now, however, we live in a time of almost daily scientific discoveries that have far-reaching effects on the health of every future child.

Our progress is rapid, and the potential is so great, that it is becoming imperative to expand the ability to fund research programs and to support the Fund for Biomedical Research.

The President's Society, a new component of the Annual Giving program, has been created to recognize gifts of $1,000 or more from individual donors. Members of The President's Society will receive a personalized acknowledgment from the national president of the March of Dimes, Dr. Jennifer Howse, and a specially designed cloisonné pin, plus a listing in the national Annual Report Honor Roll.

In addition, members will be invited to special private receptions and events; be listed in the Chapter Honor Roll at all chapter events; and be honored at the Chapter's Annual Celebration of Volunteers.

We are pleased to announce this year's charter members of The President's Society:

William T. Barry
Thomas J. Duckworth
Neal and Sherry Halloran
Ken Herlin
Michael B. Johnstone
Robert and Mary Kijak
G. Brent and Eloise Minor
Theodore Perlman
Paul and Joan Rubschlager
Rob and Mary Taylor
