Perinatal Nursing Conference
 |
This two-day, national level offering addresses significant areas of current perinatal nursing practice and is attended annually by approximately 650 nurses. It is designed by the Perinatal Nursing Advisory Committee which is comprised of volunteer nurses from area hospitals and organizations. This nursing conference is recognized as the foremost of its kind within the nursing profession.

Perinatal Nursing Symposium
The symposium consists of a one-day series of workshops which address a current perinatal issue relevant to nurses and other allied health professionals. It is designed by nurses from all areas of the Greater Illinois Chapter and is conducted in Peoria, Springfield, Rockford, Joliet, and Gary, Indiana. Approximately, 200 to 300 nurses attend annually.
Nursing Modules
The March of Dimes Nursing Modules are an easy-to-use, practical and cost-effective source of continuing education for maternal and child health nurses. These self-directed learning booklets may be used for either group or independent study. Accompanying videos are available for some modules. All modules are reviewed annually for content accuracy.
