Seating and Wheeled Mobility (DHD 552)
Augmentative Communication Assessment (DHD 554)
Computers, Communication, and Controls (DHD 551)
Adaptive Equipment Design and Fabrication (DHD 441)
Assistive Technology for Literacy, Learning, & Participation in Pre-K through High School (DHD 444)
Research Methodology and Outcomes Measures in Rehabilitation Technology (DHD 565)

Students also complete other course requirements specific to their academic department (DHD or BioE).
Assistive Technology Certificate students Working professionals may also take the classes through the UIC Office of Continuing Education, to earn the Assistive Technology Certificate.
Working professionals supported by the training grant have their tuition and fees paid for.
There is no monthly stipend involved.
Students seeking the Assistive Technology Certificate are required to take 4 courses.
