Open to all Chicago Public High School students, the scholarship will be awarded to one senior every four years. The first scholarship recipient will be awarded in June of 2000 and will enroll at the University of Illinois at Chicago in the fall of 2000. |

- Participate in the University of Illinois at Chicago s Early Outreach Saturday College Program for a minimum of two years including the applicant s junior and senior years of high school.
- Maintain a minimum high school G.P.A. of 3.0.
- 95% attendance rate for all High School and Early Outreach Saturday College classes
- Perform community service for one year of high school
- Participate in one extra-curricular activity during junior and senior years at Lindblom High School

- Scholarship money is granted on a fixed percentage rate of the fund's principal.
- Scholarship money will not exceed 10% of the total value of the fund's principal.
- Scholarship recipients will receive a fixed amount of financial support throughout his/her undergraduate years at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
- Scholarship winners will have all monies transferred to his/her account balance with the University of Illinois at Chicago.
- All scholarship applications must be submitted during the first week of January of the year in which the student plans to enroll.
- Funds not used by the official grant deadline will revert to the Eugenia M. Cobbinah Memorial Scholarship Fund.
- Scholarship recipients will complete a four-year course of study at the University of Illinois at Chicago's College of Nursing, or through another program related to a social service discipline. Subsequent switching to a different college or University will result in a termination of the grant.
