LOGAN SQUARE LIONS CLUB

On August 6,2000 the Crystal Lake Lions Club held an outing to benefit members of Horizons for the Blind. Lion Bill Hoffmann of the Logan Square Lions Club and owner of Animal Rentals, Inc., was happy to bring some of his furry and feathered friends to help make this a successful event. We hope that all of the people at this outing were entertained by his world renown show. To preserve the memory of the day, I was happy to take these photos. If you click your mouse on any of the following pictures you can see a larger version.

Bill tries to get his parrot to talk by bribing him with a cookie, but the parrot is holding out for sunflower seeds.

Before the show was over, there were a lot of big smiles like this one from Alberta.

As usual, Mr. Monk was a very popular guy at this outing!

This is one friendly arctic fox.

A python makes a new friend.

Here's the chinchilla making the rounds.

Leroy Brown, the baby lemur, is quickly learning how to steal the show.

Mr. Adam Monk visits with one of his newly found friends.

Here is an encounter that won't be soon forgotten!

Chinchillas are very soft.

Mr. Monk is quite a ham and always wants to be in the spotlight.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the chinchilla.

The gentle and friendly Mr. Monk visits with a member of the younger generation.

Here are a few more photos of visits with the fox.
