Mr. Alan W. Marttila has worked in the product development field for over 25 years. As the Director of Engineering with Baxter Healthcare Corporation’s Technology Resources Division he has been instrumental introducing and implementing technology application such as Computer-Assisted-Design, Manufacturing and Engineering (CAD, CAM, CAE) tools. He has also developed internal capabilities within product development such as the first Human Factors Engineering (HFE) and Industrial Design (ID) functions. Mr. Marttila directs an Engineering support function that is integrated with product design, Analytical processes such as Computation Fluid Dynamic (CFD), Structural Mechanics (FEA) and Machine Shop services. Alan has his BS in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University and his MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. |
